ReplyDeletegiving it a try...I think participating actively(individuals and organizations) within the local and national communities should be a step forward. forming clear ideas about who we are and how we can interact, share experiences and add to the community around should dilute notions of anti migration between local people whom -mostly- are the main former/supporters of such groups..!!
ReplyDeleteAwareness of each article within the Declaration of Human Rights that are entitled to all people equips me to be well prepared to challenge views from, for example, the far-right.
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing to ask for human rights in 21st century because they should be seen as basic rights for human beings. Anti-immigrant attitudes are usually against human rights and can be dealt in different ways. Some of these ways can be classified in creating an event, participating in anti-immigration protests, writing letters to MPs, informing others through writing and publishing articles related to the matter, illustrating evidence-based documents in different formats in hard copies or digital world, making true stories in a film format, engaging local, national, and international events in order to tackle hostile approach of anti-immigration sentiments. In addition, beneficial effects of immigration should also be shown to highlight the scales.
ReplyDeleteThe best way to counter far-right anti-immigratin is to bring a story line of a person who has been subjected to the violatin of his rights. ~Thus by bringing the problem close to the people it can create awareness which was notd there before.A person's testimony could make pepole understand more.
