Module 9 - Improving your blog

Feedback on Blogs
  • Cleaner is better
  • Use similar titles for Pages (i.e. About, Contact VS About Us, Contact Us)
  • Watch out for light colours and light texts/ dark colours and dark texts
  • Photos should fit in borders
  • Consider if you really *need* Followers
  • Descriptions can go either under titles or on the sidebar in a text box
  • Remove 'About Me' if you are an organisation
  • Change 'Home' to 'Blog' if you desire

Add Authors

You can add up to 100 authors to the blog. These people will be able to add posts but not change the look of the blog. You can make someone an administrator after they have accepted to be an author.

1. Add authors by going to:
-Go to Settings > Permissions
-Click 'Add Authors'
-Enter email addresses
-Send Invites

What are the barriers we face in doing digital activism?

What can we do to overcome these barriers?
